Exposed bleach lifespan? Plant safety?

If I put gallon of bleach in about 15 gallons of water in barrel about 8/9 months ago, I'm assuming it's safe to knock it over into the grass?

Anyone know about bleach in general when it comes to being in the ground? Grass/plants, etc?

If it has been in the sun that long there is no bleach left.
