Did the military generator sell?
« on: April 16, 2018, 12:32:44 AM »
Wasn't there a 10k generator for sale?

Or am I losing my mind?

I listed it on the Charlotte Craigs List site. I had raised the price by 500 so, I felt it best to delete the post. Didn't seem anyone interested here. I've had that one about 15 years. Used my 803 when the power was out yesterday.

Ah. Ok.

I started researching it as soon as I saw the post. That kind of thing is right up my alley. I'm vested in old non-electronic diesels and that capacity would be the perfect back up to my solar.

Now that the research is out of the way, I can be quicker on the draw if another opportunity comes up.

Sorry Lilburner I meant no bad on my post. I left the post up about a week, I had no questions, no comments, no offers, just seemed as that there was no interest. I'm new here and not here to change the program. Seems as though many of the classifieds have "views" but very few comments. I have no problem with that. Again, I just go with the flow. Any can always ask me a question. So ya know, 002 and 003 are the older air cooled. 802 and 803 are the newer water cooled units. All are good when you can find a deal. 802 and 803 are the tactical quiet units. 002 and 003 make (about) 20% more power than they are rated. All the MEP units like to be maxed out. 2s=5k, 3=10k. All units have the same fuel consumption whether under load or not. My home is mostly gas. the 03 will run both my barn and my house, the unit will say it's at 70% rated capacity with both buildings and well running at max power consumption.
