How horrible of a person would I be if I took the good chain off of mine, boxed the chainsaw up with with the loose, bad chain from another chainsaw, and then had an extra good chain for my free replacement?

I'm thinking it would be kind of a wash for selling me a dangerous chainsaw.

Incidentally, I was in HF the other day and they had a sign that said something I seem to remember being along the lines of "Someone pointed out that are trailers aren't DOT compiant. There's no safety issue, but we're not selling trailers or tires at the moment".

Anyone else seen those?

A strong conviction that something must be done is the parent of many bad measures.
