There's a new invasive tick species spreading
called the Asian Longhorn Tick
. So far, it's been found in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Arkansas. None found in the U.S. have been carrying diseases so far and permethrin seems to get rid of them.

Good grief, just what we need, a super tick! Is there no mercy from the insect population?
