New Invasive Tick Species (Asian Longhorn)
« on: August 11, 2018, 10:05:27 PM »
There's a new invasive tick species spreading called the Asian Longhorn Tick.  So far, it's been found in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Arkansas.   None found in the U.S. have been carrying diseases so far and permethrin seems to get rid of them.

“Our country demands all our strength, all our energies. To resist the powerful combination now forming against us will require every man at his place.
If victorious, we will have everything to hope for in the future. If defeated, nothing will be left for us to live for.”
