Hello, I just joined a few days ago. I am in the region-12 Georgia area. Looking to learn more about prepping, survival and being self sufficient. Currently still in the military (national guard) so I am somewhat paranoid about what gets put out and those I deal with, so this is a leap of faith for me.

Welcome from region 8.   You can read here all day and not say anything if you choose.  I might suggest that as part of your preps you start a vegetable garden.  Start small and learn how to grow some food.  Might come in handy some day.

Welcome aboard and make yourself at home!

You'll get mote comfortable talking as you learn to maintain opsec and still discuss preps. You get the hang of it after while. I'm comfortable sharing down to the town name where I live, but you'd still have a hell of a time finding me!
