Where to post
« on: October 16, 2018, 09:58:24 AM »
I have recently acquired a small parcel of land and would like to find like minded folks to help develop the land as a retreat / bug out location but not sure exactly where I should make the post.
Any suggestions which section I should make this post?

thanks

You could start by posting in the Region of Georgia your property is located in. It will take time for you to get to know our members and for our members to know you. :) Being so spread out geographically is the hardest part of developing a MAG. Take your time vetting people you might invite to join you...your life will depend on it.

Do a search on the forum on canning and lots of posts come up. Any particular thing you are wanting to can?

The wife & I can a lot.  Green beans, tomatoes, vegetable beef soup, salsa, spaghetti sauce and tomato juice.  Last year we had a bumper crop of potatoes.  We took all the small ones and canned them.  Now we open a pint of potatoes, a quart of green beans and add some ham chunks.  Makes a complete meal.  That way I can eat my own potatoes year round.
