I miss Gander Mtn.

I never thought it would happen.

Until they went out of business and I helped clean out the Snellville store, I don't think I ever bought anything in-store

Except SOCKS.

They had a three-pack of medium weight hiking socks for $20. Then at Black Friday they'd put them on sale for $10. I never wore any out. But as socks have a way of doing, they're decreasing in number - especially spread out over two locations. ALL my socks (except dress socks) were those Gander Mtn socks. I HEARTED them. They didn't make the move over to Gander Outdoors.

So now I have to commit time and thought to finding new socks. I'm devastated. Then when I get more of a different kind, I'm going to have to SORT them  >:(

I'm livid that they didn't keep their chain open to sell me $50 worth of socks every year. The NERVE.

Oh I can find socks, thanks.

Finding socks that don't wear out and all look the same at 3 pair for $10 in my size is a bit more challenging seemingly impossible.

If I were normal-sized, I could buy leftovers on eBay for $14/3 pair shipped. But that ship sailed when I was like... 12.
