I'm seeing a lot of mentions dated from 2010 to 2014. One of the later ones I see is a guy who called Kel-tec and they gave him a choice between sending it in or them sending him a new ejector. He elected to take the new ejector for a DIY fix, and with a little more fiddling, got past the problem.
I hope they're doing better with newer models if they were sending out fixes circa 2014.
Not to try to talk you back in to liking it, but have you called them? If you're going to relegate a gun to the safe, it might as well be in working condition.
