Years ago I got to see one run with a load of dummy rounds on a maintenance rack at Eglin AFB. Impressive is putting it mildly. Later got to see shipboard MK-15 CIWS fire up close and personal. Also impressive even at 20mm vs the 30mm of the GAU-8.
