My goal is to leave here Thursday morning... be there around lunchtime, and be set up shortly after that.  Looks like Im doing the tent/canopy thing again.  But I see it as a character builder....LOL

I'm going to have to cancel, too.  Harley the Shih Tzu will be 15 this month and he's not doing well, the old ticker is slowly giving out & he's almost totally deaf - everything else is fine.  He hadn't eaten in 2 days, but took some chicken and scrambled eggs this morning then went back to sleep....which he is doing 21-22 hrs a day now.  He's not in pain but I don't want to get down there with the camper and have something happen.    I thought I'd lose him 6 months ago but he bounced back, so if things are good we'll run down Saturday for the day, otherwise I just want him to be comfy and be with his Mommy, which is his favorite thing to do.

This is going to be so hard, he's the last tie to the little family we had when John got sick.

I don't see anything to get worked up about with that marine corps stuff. it's just admin changes to existing regs in the event of an activation.
the usual fear mongers / yellow journalist would lead you to believe there has been or soon will be a mass activation.

as of now, I'm probably not going to make it but we'll see how the rest of the week goes.

Finishing up packing. Couldn't help but giggle at the slight absurdity of going boondock camping with a $1500 Sleep Number bed and a case of champagne.
