An almost straight northward turn predicted now on Sunday night, running right up the center of FL.  More of central GA in line for some breezes and rain.

Yeah,  That means it's headed my unless it stays on the East coast.  My squash just started blooming again after too much water.  Now looks like more on the way.  At least the winds will be down a bit.  Coastal flooding will be a problem..

I know we love us some five gallon buckets, but I'm sure none of us is this...challenged:  Home Depot buckets are not gas containers!

Update bump. There will be larger gaps between updates until/unless Dorian's track appears to be threatening a particular area of the U.S.

Bean3 is on the Hurricane Ride-out Team at his base. Grandbeans2&4 will be picked up by their great-aunt this afternoon from daycare so they will be safe inland. Pups are with a friend. I know Bean3 will be safe due to where they do their ride-out and they are only expecting flooding from the surge and a little bit of storming, not a hit. His house is expected to be completely okay. It is 10 feet above sea level and surge waters are currently expected at 7.2 feet. There are at least two housing areas expected to be flooded and have had mandatory evacuations.
That's the latest on one base in southeast Virginia.
