With holiday baking, remember your muffin liners.  When we do have power and can use our ovens that are electric (if we are unlucky enough to have one of these), we  will have easy clean up.  Foils and cooking bags also come in handy when you have so much to do, or you are on alert.  This is a good time to watch for sales on all those things.
T. glad your power is back on before the  coldest night of the week!

Thanks Tlwagg!  This is an important service and reminder.  I hope everyone checks the supplies noted each month.  You don't want any surprises.  Since baking is mentioned this month, I wanted to note that yeast was impossible to get during the last lockdown, once things got serious and people were working from home.  If will keep in your freezer for a long time, esp. if you get it in bulk, instead of the little packets.. I hear that cranberry sauce or cranberries may be in short supply soon, just a rumor from a good source.  If you can you may want to grab some fresh and start in.  They should go on sale after Thanksgiving, if still available.  First off, you have to like them.  Store what you eat, eat what you store.

Ideas for an emergency prep book?  Would it contain things to take if you were forced out.  We plan to bug in.  Is it a medical book?
I have loved seeing the list every week, since it allows me to check just those items or those I keep instead of the ones suggested.  I know it is extra work for you, and have greatly appreciated it!  It should be a big benefit for those new here.
