There was a scheduled student break for Thurs & Fri for Floyd.  They have since told ALL staff, ALL schools not to come in, except for essential operating personnel, which are NOT teachers/aides/cafeteria, etc.

North Fulton ARES held it's monthly meeting last night over via computer. The big club NFARL will hold it's meeting the same way next week. Hubby's company has instituted work from home if possible. Lucky he's worked from home for the last 25 years.

Which government?  State of Georgia or U.S. government?  Also, do you have a link?

I don't know. My sister is in a nursing home and she just called me to tell me that the nursing home called her daughter and told her just what I added her. I'll try to call her back and see if she has anymore information. She just said all nursing homes.

All I can find is states:  Washington, Florida, MD, and those all with restrictions.  New Rochelle, NY and ALL the VA Nursing homes.

Other individual nursing home companies are doing their own restrictions or limitations but nothing mandatory here.

Yesterday they had a restriction on children. I'm trying to find out more but my sister doesn't know anymore. They have hours that you can call to check on them. The family can no longer do the patients laundry.

NASCAR race at Homestead NEXT w/e, 3/22.  According to Miami-Dade officials this am no fans.  No word from NASCAR on whether they'll run the race anyway.  I'm guessing not since all those driver memorabilia trucks won't even bother going down.

Early Release, Thursday, March 12, 2020
Telfair County School District was notified this morning, March 12, 2020, that a student in our system had contact with family members last weekend who may have been exposed to COVID-19. The student has had no symptoms of the Coronavirus. The school district immediately alerted public health officials of the potential exposure. Health officials believe that the risk remains very low. We will remain in contact with local health officials. Out of an abundance of caution, Telfair County School will have early release today at 12:30 p.m. Schools will be closed tomorrow for students and staff. This will allow us to clean and sanitize the affected school as a preventative measure. All extracurricular activities are postponed until Monday, March 16, 2020. The health and safety of our students is always our top priority. We plan to resume normal operation on Monday, March 16, 2020. Parents and students, please monitor system and school websites and social media pages for updates.     https://www.telfairschools.org

Do you have links to when and where we can watch the meetings?
