RECALL on Harbor Freight jackstands
« on: May 19, 2020, 11:50:34 PM »
There's a Harbor Freight recall on 1 model of 3-ton jackstands # 56371 and 2 models of 6-ton Jack stands #'s 61196 and 61197.  These could collapse under a shift in weight.

Thanks!

I've got some down in the barn I need to look at. Just used them the other day.

I actually watch a Harbor Freight reviewer youtube channel and you beat him to the punch!

Just spent the last week under them for a transmission rebuild.

I checked mine. They're similar model but good numbers.

I have both, the only differences i see are the depth of cut in the teeth one on the left a non recall is .160 and a bad stand is .130 its about 1/32” different.

ill be switching them out

I got a pair. When I used them, I didn't use them as primary. I didn't trust them.
