I had not heard a word from my oldest son that had the virus last week, SO last night we called him to see how he was doing. He said he was fine and his employer was going to let him return to work tomorrow, Thursday. Well with the long weekend coming (4th) he is planning a little hiking trip. He said he knew of a secluded place he could go for the weekend that had lots of Chanterelle mushrooms. He is the one that does a lot of foraging.

A couple years ago I came across a "Chicken of the Wood" just off the AT between Jarrard Gap and Blood Mountain. I found my picture in my 2018 picture folder.
