Habersham County Mass Vaccination Site - no appointment needed

Lilburner was in Clarkesville today at the state's mass vaccination in Habersham County (NE GA), and he asked me to report that their sign says no appointment needed.  They are supposedly set up to vaccinate 1400 people per day (per news reports), but the staff outnumbered the people coming to be vaccinated this morning.
An appointment is recommended, and you can call to set one up at 844-275-5388.  The address is 4235 Toccoa Highway, Clarkesville GA 30523,

It is a short day trip from metro Atlanta through Gainesville and Cornelia or north on  I-85 and through Toccoa.  It could be faster and easier than hitting refresh for 2 hours trying to set an appointment in the metro area.

I agree with you RWS but I try my darndest to keep that opinion to myself.  You see the government has done such a good job with propaganda that they have truly scared many Americans (our friends and neighbors) into thinking that life will return to normal yet they keep moving the goalposts.  I’ve learned that many in my family will end up getting Jabbed and there is absolutely nothing that I can do to stop them.  My mom on the other hand will have to listen to me and maybe she will and maybe she won’t but she will hear me out! 

My advice to you RWS is unless it is a VERY close family member, keep your opinion bottled up for now, all you will accomplish is pissing people off.  The people that choose to get it now have been lied to for the past year, scared to death by the government and after all of the draconian measures put forth this past year are convinced that the jab is the answer.  You and I feel totally different than them but quite frankly it is their decision to make whether you or I agree with it or not!  I guess what I’m saying is don’t alienate any of your friends because you have a different perspective on the jab than they do!  They will have to live with any consequences, not you.  I keep my opinion regarding this to myself as I’ve found that anyone that agrees to get jabbed honestly thinks they are doing the right thing, FOR THEM, and who are we to say differently...

Yeah, People take offense too easily sometimes.  But opinions are like xxx xxxxx, everyone has one and I share my opinions.  I would not have my friends and neighbors ignorant.  At least they have heard and have a choice.  Like a horse, you can lead them to water, but -------------.

The most important thing is to be respectful.

It's a polarizing issue and one that people of our shared ilk don't universally agree upon like say gun rights and socialism.

Have vaccines eradicated deadly diseases? Yes. Is the government lying at every opportunity? Of course. That leaves a huge spectrum of ways to feel about it, and it's a personal decision for everyone.

I'm largely ambivalent, and you don't have to worry about my feelings. I got the vaccine and immediately went on Twitter and made fun of myself for it. People choose to get it or not for a lot of different reasons. Not everyone getting it is doing it to be a government sheep.

My reasons had nothing to do with either my own health nor herd immunity.

Like I said. You don't have to worry about my feelings, but it's a personal choice everyone has to make for themselves, so be mindful of that.

Good list, but you over-looked giving out the Saulk vaccine for polio, before the Dr. said it was ready.  All the kids that got it first ended up with polio.

Well this is what gets me on my high horse.  Covid-19 was developed in a Chinese lab.  Or should we say it was modified so that it would be transmissible to humans in a Chinese Lab.  Even before the virus was out there was work being done on a vaccine.  The lab in China of course is owned by the Chinese Communist Party and partly staffed by the Chinese military.  I call that a Bio Weapons Lab.  When I hear the term Bio Weapons Lab I think Binary weapons.  So it is natural for me to consider the vaccine the first part of a Bio Weapon.  So how do you get the masses to willingly take the first part of a Bio Weapon?  You scare the bejebers out of them.  Tell them they will die if they don't take it.  My opinion is those who take it are setting themselves up for the second part of a Binary weapon.  Just My Opinion....Naturally I am concerned about my friends willingly taking the shot!
