I'm looking for a Beretta 92fs. I am looking for used, in good condition for a decent price. I've been on all the trader websites and pickins have been slim, not to mention most everybody is pretty much asking retail for used guns. PM me if you can help me out.

good luck. there was a run of police trade ins a while back, but they seem to have dried up.

Only dealer i've found with any sort of deal is https://www.classicfirearms.com/beretta-92-compact-9mm-13rd-pistol-new

I'll keep looking around.

There's the $489 Police Special at Buds - 3 mags and hex key grip screws are the only differences as far as I know from the regular production model

Apparently they don't sell it to everyone, but I seem to think you have a qualifier. If not, you can get it from Botach for a little more at https://www.botach.com/beretta-92fs-police-special-9mm-pistols-w-3-magazines/

Buying current production guns from trader sites never really gets you a deal, because the guns hold their value and there's a premium for private buying.

I got a deal on an older one, pre "S", just F for not much over a couple hundred bucks - $200-$300 - part of a package deal. They're somewhat maligned because the military was blowing the slides off of them. Turns out, they were using too high a pressure ammo and wound up having to settle with Beretta. If you're on a budget and not planning on shooting insane ammo, you might catch a deal on the F.

Then there's the "S only" version that predates the military trial "F" designation. The primary difference is the European mag release. These were popular Italian police pistols and many are coming up for sale. Classic has these for $300 https://www.classicfirearms.com/beretta-9mm-semi-auto-surplus-g-vg

ETA: JGSales has them, too, and is widely regarded as a better company. http://www.jgsales.com/-p-93312.html?fullsite=true

Wait until the new Sig starts getting delivered to the military and they decommission theirs.  Should be lots at good prices.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

Came into this world screaming, kicking and covered in someone else's blood.  Don't mind going out that way.

From personal experience you likely don't want those as they'll be so worn out that if you shake them it'll sound like a tin can filled a quarter of the way up with scrap metal.

If victorious, we will have everything to hope for in the future. If defeated, nothing will be left for us to live for.”
