Yes.  Years ago we called it the butterfly bandage.  It is used when you are in the woods and sutures are unavailable.   Some use it because they are to parsimonious to go to the hospital or don't want the hospital to do a police interrogation.

I wonder if this is a latex free option?  You're a couple months late!  I could have used it after being stupid.  My kid could have used it when he split his head open a few years ago too and saved a couple thousand at the ER for 3 lousy staples.

In re: calling it a butterfly bandage, I think of butterfly bandage being a completely different thing - similar, but without the ability to tighten.

I have seen these during a wound care presentation. We do not  sell them individually  but  surgery centers have been ordering them in custom procedure trays. They were being used in wound care to treat wounds on cellulitis patients. They have become popular with cosmetic surgeons due to is the low impact to tissue with reduced scaring.
