Camping Survival was bought out and moved to Salt Lake City.  They no longer carry water bricks on their site.

Water bricks are sold by Sportsmans Guide and in bulk on Amazon.
Well,  I have 20 water bricks with 10 full on standby.  I am also working on a water project in region 2 on some property I purchased this last Spring.  It has an untapped flowing spring.  I have designed a barn that will be 50 ft below the spring.  I plan to gravity a 1" pipe full down about 30ft to a 2000gal underground storage tank.  The tank will gravity down the rest of the way via a 2" pipe so any pump in the barn will have flooded suction.  The underground tank will continuously overflow with inlet on one end and overflow at the opposite end keeping the water fresh.  Overflow will go into the existing pond where it now run down hill to.  Thanks to Florida44 for the link to a spring capping kit.  There are many videos on Youtube.

RWS - Sat in a class once where Scott Hunt taught about methods of catching and moving water. The man knows as much about Ram pumps and such as he does about solar.

I am excited to see what you do with the spring and the ponds!

I could definitely use a ram pump; however,  I do not want to hear that constant thump thump.  Raiders passing out on the hiway would be able to hear it.  Gravity works......and I will have solar power at the bottom of the hill for an electric pump.

Looks like Arizona and Nevada are in for water restrictions !

Run thru the pictures and see the drastic water level change over time.

Good point RWS about the noise a ram pump can make! Good foresight, I wonder thought that a person could make a dampening chamber around the check valve so the thump sound was largely mitigated?
