Go tenna is the technology that I have chosen for the MGaCommunity compound.  With the 4 tower set up I expect 5 Mile radius coverage.  It is easy to solar power.  My only concern is EMP.  Spares must be kept in a Faraday cage.

Depends on what mode/additional application you want to use.  In its simplest form it is stand alone once you download the App and pair.  There is a lot to it.  Get as much as you want.   Take some time and read the info on the web page.  I downloaded the operators manual.

I am not an expert, just familiar with the product.

Unfortunately I missed the meeting today. I am glad to see the great post about the meeting outcome. Could someone please post a bit more information about this "Barrel Lady in Jones County". What does she offer and what is the price range? I was thinking of driving up to the Atlanta area to pick up some water barrels, but this seems to be much closer, and if the price is right, it would save a long drive.

GREAT August meeting yesterday!!!!- Hats off to all Region 6 folks who attended and participated!!! LOTS of items and issues discussed--OUTSTANDING demonstrations and presentations given,  and of course, GREAT networking and fellowship! 
This was only our 3rd meeting-- but seeing GREAT POSSIBILITIES  AND GROWTH for the group!--and getting better organized as well!!

I briefly talked about a product that allows you to make chlorine for helping with water purification or general cleaning and disinfecting of counter tops and floors and clothes. Talk about communications class that we could do coming up as well as doing a survey of what we all would like to learn done by Julie. Looks like medical, plant Id, and water procurement/harvesting are at the top of the list. I will see if I can find my old slide presentations on water harvesting and purification for an upcoming class.

A lot of talk and good info was passed by all at the meeting. We are headed in the right direction. Thanks to all who worked on it.
