I know you are not supposed to eat highly processed foods, BUT.   Recently Wallmart had some 4 cheese potatoes and Garlic mashed potatoes.  We bought one each to try out.  We ate the 4 cheese potatoes on our last trip to the mountains and absolutely loved them.  You can try a "Great Value" 4 oz bag for $1.. 
A bag of potatoes, rotisserie chicken and some single serving vegetable packs makes a good start to a week at the BOL.
I looked at Wallmart for some more and did not see them so this morning I ordered for stock on line and can pick them up after 11AM today.  I will let them find them on the shelf.

Have you seen the mess California is in with their distribution system ?

 Were the 4 cheese potatoes the ones where the potatoes are cut in half, then the cheese added?. Their pretty great to eat at times.

No,  They are instant mashed potatoes.  They come in a plastic bag, 4oz. "Great Value" brand which is the Wallmart brand. For $1 each they are inexpensive enough to try one.  I have my long term preps set for a while.  Now working on short to mid term preps that get rotated more frequently.  Stocking stuff I like to eat!

I'm now pretty well set for different canned meats for now. I got to looking at my store bought canned vegetable's I noticed at least some of them needs throwing away and replaced.. I'm wondering what else I need to replace now.
