Any interest in maybe starting back with a few meetings in the north east section?
Maybe a good location

I live in region 8 but am building out a campsite in region 2.  It may be hard for me to arrange, but it would be nice to meet some of the region 2 preppers.  One thing I have learned about region 2 is most people prep to some extent as a way of life.

Lot of good land in Region 2.       How extensive of a campsite are you building

I am proposing a Region 2 meetup!  Yes really ! !  There is a quilt show in Blairsville this coming Friday & Saturday.  I will be there at noon with my other hat is made of TINFOIL on.  I see the entrance fee is $7.00 so you may catch me in the parking lot noonish on Friday.  Maybe we can do lunch somewhere.

What a huge quilt show,  Much larger than the Middle Ga. ones we have gone to.  I was there from 11:15 thru 12:15 and had no visitors.  After that we rode over to York between Mountain City and the NC state line to a vegetable market.  They had cabbage $2.50 a head or $15 for a 50 lb bag.  We came away with the 50lb bag and some silver queen corn.  All of our neighbors around the BOL now have a nice large head of cabbage.  Most were 9 & 10 pounders.

Yikes,   9-10 lb cabbage heads?

I can barely slice a 4 lb cabbage head without cutting my finger.

Been offline the last few weeks and missed your invite.

Well, we made it home to hot hot region 8.  I was curious about the cabbage weight so I got out the kitchen scale and weighed one.  8-1/3 LB but it feels like 10 lbs carrying one in a grocery sack for a quarter mile.  I took one down to my neighbor and like to have broke my arm.
I don't have to guess too much about what we are having for supper tomorrow evening.  Corn beef roast and cabbage!!
