The Stevens 87D. It followed me home
If you're not familiar, these and several other models of Savage and Springfield were known as both "gill guns" for reasons obvious in the pictures, and "click clack guns" because of the distinctive sound the action makes because it doesn't cycle until you release the trigger. It can also be shot with shorts in bolt gun mode.
I've had my eyes open for the better part of a year, but they always seem to be some combination of "beat" or "expensive". This one was at the local Army/Navy and juuuust right. It's near pristine - close enough for me, certainly. probably 97%.
I got a couple rounds through it. I love the size and heft. It cycles nicely. Can't speak to accuracy because I didn't have a target.
