Weather update:

For those arriving Thursday: 40-50% chance of light rain in the morning until around 1030. High of 77 degrees.

Friday: there could be some light rain from midnight until around 0200. The rest of the day will be overcast. High is 77 degrees.

Saturday: possibility of some light rain in the morning and overcast in the afternoon. High of 73 degrees.

Sunday: no rain. High of 75 degrees.

So, not quite as good as the earlier forecast, but still not too bad. I will still be getting there on Thursday.

Don’t forget to bring something for the auction.

Looking forward to it! Much needed break and fellowship.

I'll be +1 this year. While my trailer is easily convertible to a queen bed, I haven't had the time to do it, so we're coming down Friday, staying in town Friday night, and coming back Saturday.

Anyone know who has the yellow banner?

If anyone wants to do a presentation, you're welcome to. We'll carve out some time. But nothing scheduled except the auction.

Final Weather Update:

Today: small chance of showers this morning. High of 77 degrees

Friday: 50% chance of light rain in the morning from around 0300 until 1000.
Overcast the rest of the day. High of 75 degrees.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy all day with only 1% chance of rain. High of 79 degrees.

Sunday: Clear skies (of course). High of 80 degrees.

Don’t forget your auction items.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. I’m planning on getting there today maybe around 1100 and setting up in my usual place.

ATTENTION!

Anyone coming from the south and headed up 129, it is closed at the roundabout.

I had to go back and take the road to Montecello (Ga11) up to Hillsboro and turn right onto Fullerton Phillips Road and then right on 212. That puts Checking Station Road on your right.

It added about twenty minutes to my trip this morning.

I’m not sure why, or for how long 129 will be closed, but I reckon it has to do with some flooding since there were DOT trucks there in addition to the county sheriff.

Another successful Campout is behind us. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. I’m not going to name names because I’d miss someone, but I know we ALL appreciate having bathroom facilities thanks to Farside. The crowd was a little smaller than usual since some had work commitments, school commitments and health commitments, but things should be back to normal for the spring Campout.

So start planning now. Let’s have a great crowd and hopefully some new faces.

That is unless TEOTWAWKI happens before then.... In that case, I’ll see y’all on the other side.
