It's fed land, but state run. That's why I've like Cedar Creek so much. The location in the middle of no where and close to the middle of the state. unless there are more than 65 in the group you don't have to get any permits.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!  Are there any “day trippers” planning on coming over on Saturday?
Give a man a fish and feed him a day teach him how to fish and you have a friend for life.

I have a few potted Turmeric plants that I would like to give away.  If you want one or two, holler up and I will bring them to the campout.

Camp anyway. All the rangers will be furloughed. Nobody to say anything.
Yeah,  Just like when SHTF !!   Not to worry though, they just passed a budget good till end of year.

Heck, remember that time we had around 120 campers? That was Cedar Creek wasn’t it? What year was that?

It was Benny. But that year, I watched the count and got a permit from the Feds for $65.

I can't leave for the campground very early today.  The wife is mixing up a batch of scones (Blueberry Scones)  and I want to take some with me to the campout.  Probably arrive after lunch today.

I don't think I need to go camping any more !  While on my last camping trip I missed the start of World War III.  I am glad the grid is still up and that I had enough food & fuel to make it back home.

I enjoyed the weekend and was especially happy to see Ravenwood come out for a visit. It was great to see everyone. The mystery box was a hit at the auction and I’m already planning the next one. I’ll have to put a lot of thought into it to meet expectations.

I made it home without the camper falling apart. What a disappointment that was. Outdoor Rec really dropped the ball for a second time. Apparently they no longer do a thorough check of the campers when turned in. You can bet they will get my list of a thorough checkout of that camper.
