Hello to all SEPN Georgia Members and Georgia Region 6 Members!
Hoping you all had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends and that all are doing well and everyone still has your "GAME ON" as far as "preps" for you and your family go!
MANY, many "unexpected situations" can still happen very quickly---so I continue to urge everyone to please
still keep prepping!! Be Prepared! As for our November 23rd meeting here for Region 6 on the topic:
"Holiday Season Pot-Luck Luncheon / 2024 Year's End Get-Together"
It was VERY well attended and GREAT food (and LOTS of it) was to be had by all!!-there were a couple of "regular" attendees that could not make it to the pot-luck due to family time and obligations for the holiday. Believe me--you guys all were GREATLY MISSED!! Looking forward to seeing you all in January 2025!!
Also one of of our regular members did a brief presentation on quick set up of a 2-meter HAM radio for your home or vehicle and accessories that you will need for both as well!! Everyone seemed very interested in this and I for one-- will be setting up my 2-meter radio as recommended as well!!
EXCELLENT JOB!! We even managed to add a new additional member to our ranks as well! He said that he found out about us by our information board and flyers posted inside USS in our "meeting area" and by talking with the USS staff about what we were and what we do!!
WELCOME ABOARD! As in past November meetings for Region 6 and our traditional " Holiday Season Pot Luck Luncheon /Year End Get-Together, we all seem to come together as a "family of preppers" and have EXCELLENT fellowship while we partake in a WONDERFUL FEAST and do some "catching up" on things with one another and "planting of seeds" by discussing future plans/ ideas/topics for the upcoming year future meetings and training sessions.
GREAT JOB YOU ALL! As I have mentioned in many past posts concerning the Georgia Region 6 monthly meetings, we are so very BLESSED to have such GREAT active members and participants. All of our members are an “exceptional wealth of knowledge” and are “true experts” on such a very wide variety of preparedness topics – BAR NONE!
We all have been TRULY BLESSED to have such a WONDERFUL place here at Uncle Sam’s Surplus to hold our monthly meetings! The staff at USS have always provided EXCELLENT SUPPORT in the past for our SEPN Georgia Region 6 meetings! They have ALWAYS gone “above and beyond the call of duty” to assist us in any way concerning our meeting needs with any equipment or class presentation items in their stock for our use! They are without a doubt-- #1 in customer service!
Much thanks go out again to Alex, Shelby, Nick, Clint, --and all of the USS crew for your continued support of us and our monthly meetings there! YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!
There is NO scheduled meeting planned for December 2024---as our regularly scheduled monthly meeting date falls very close to Christmas-- and most folks will be away during that time being with family and friends!
But all,-- rest assured that Region 6 meetings will resume back on January 25th, 2025--Lord willing!

Bring any prepping related item(s) to this meeting that you may be interested in selling /trading/bartering . If the item is too large to bring in into USS --take a picture of it-- and we will present it on the video screen to all for viewing.
Also let everyone know what you may be in need of or on the "look out" for as well.Maybe some one there may be able to put you on a good lead for it!
And for all you "seed savers" in the group---here is an opportunity to present your saved seeds for us folks getting our gardens ready for spring planting!!
And finally-"Part-2" of our "Region 6 Strategic Planning meeting for 2025".: LOTS of excellent ideas and topics were discussed at the November "pot-luck" and wanted to continue with that and start "firming up" a prepping related educational topics schedule for our regularly monthly scheduled meetings and training sessions for us for 2025.--
Now is the time to let your ideas and suggestions be heard!! As ALWAYS, SEPN Georgia Region 6 meets are open to EVERYONE from ALL SEPN Georgia Regions and to ANY folks who are interested in becoming more prepared! Please feel free to bring family and friends! We hope to see you there!
