Hello to all SEPN Georgia Members and Georgia Region 6 Members!
Hoping that you all are doing well--- and still have your "GAME ON" as far as your "preps" go for you and your family! LOTS of happenings and situations still appear to be rapidly changng and evolving right now--so best to keep your head on a swivel --and stay vigilant!!
We here in Region 6 got off to a GREAT start for 2025 with our January montly meeting--- and our February meeting has DEFINANTLY kept that positive momentum going us--
and was really "kicked it" up a notch or two!!
Our meeting topic was entitled
"A Primer on The Wonderful World of 3-D Plastic Printing: The ability to produce small items that may break, wear-out, or get lost, and you need to replace them ASAP.Much like many of our past monthly meetings, this one was noted to be very well attended and the active participation and interaction from folks in attendance was GREAT!
This presentation was lead by one of our newest members who joined our ranks here in Region 6. He most definantly has quite alot of experience with 3-D printers-- both personally and professionally and put on one PROFESSIONAL and VERY INFORMATIVE session on this very complex topic! and the power point presentation was
top notch!
We were so very glad that he brought along his personal 3-D printer and some examples of his past 3-D projects for the "show and tell" part of this presentation!!
I--along with a great majority of others present-- were totally shocked and amazed about the various 3-D printing processes from start to finish concerning multiple types of projects, what 3-D printing can and can't do, and all the possibilities of 3-D printing--which seemed endless to me!

Our presenter made explaining these complex processes and possibilities very easy to understand for us "none -tech" folks--- and for that we are so grateful!!
OUTSTANDING JOB!!
