Thanks for all the detailed info, Mike. I will be using a lot of this in my purchases in the near future.

I built my current 200W system loosely based on Will's guides four years ago, but I was in a major hurry and had many other bases I was trying to get covered ASAP, so there's lots of room for improvement.

If you haven't got Will's book you should get it. I believe you can now download for free. We put a system that runs two freezers and a refrigerator. We run it constantly but have a transfer switch just in case. It's been running for about 4 years now and no problem.
