Title: Buying a dehydrator
Post by: RWS on September 29, 2020, 07:05:26 PM
After atttending PrepperCamp we have decided to buy an Excaliber dehydrator.  Now the question is,  What size?   Where can I buy those soild trays that hold a liquid?  I don't want a dehydrator that accessories are not available.

Thanks

Excalibur has a fantastic reputation. I was on a tight budget with my other prepping efforts this year so chose the Cosori premium dehydrator. Time will tell if that was a wise choice but the reviews on Amazon were impressive and I'm really happy with the results.  It is soooo much better than the round Presto dehydrator I had before. Not trying to change your mind but I'm extremely happy so thought it worth mentioning. I bought 5 silicone sheets and dehydrated a bag of frozen cauliflower rice.  You can freeze milk and make milk powder. Just so many options.  Enjoy!

I googled Excaliber liners and came up with a bunch of stuff.

I'm not sure if you went the same day I did, but I'm almost positive she mentioned parchment paper.
