Title: Hurricane Nicole headed my way
Post by: RWS on November 10, 2022, 05:55:33 AM
Weather channel says to prepare for high winds from 10AM until 7PM today.  I am in South Georgia so it will vary depending on where you live.  The wife is wondering if our power is going to go off.  It won't be a problem for us as all we have to do for supper is warm up a bowl of chili and we can do that in the microwave (solar powered) or I can bring in a propane burner from the camper.  The same one I used at campout to warm up the brunswick stew.

Yesterday I changed oil in the generator in my camper.  I added back new 10W30 oil.  Then I went in the house and brought up a You tube video on how to change oil in my generator.  First I was supposed to run the generator to get the oil warm.  Then I was supposed to use 15W40 oil.  Well my teachers used to tell me when I did not do something right that I got to do it all over again.  Maybe I can do it today as I now have practice.......
