Homestyle Potato Soup Case Pack (24 servings, 6 pk.) 15 bucks

big bowl of this would make a meal
even if you need to eat a few servings, the cost is on par with a 2$ can of chunky soup

Have you tried it? Is it any good?

finally made some today. most reviews seem to agree. bland but not bad
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxTsLULB4PQ

it tasted a little bland. I mixed in pepper and a touch of garlic powder and I'd call it good.
it's on par with any canned soup, def not homemade, but def not bad.

I didn't open my big cans, I cooked one of the 4 serving packets.
I was worried about the serving size but it actually makes 4 medium bowls. good for a side dish
a double serving would make a nice lunch. might even be enough for dinner

the sale price was 17$ a box (8 packets), making it about 2bucks per pack.

you can't beat a 25yr stable meal for a dollar
at that price I have no problem cooking some any day just for an easy meal

We've had some of the Patriot Supply stews for tasting at a previous camp out.  IF we have the fall camp out, perhaps we can set up another storage food taste test.

just hold a 3 day ACAB protest at the group camping site?

I have some potato soup to try too.
I've been buying a few things here and there when the sale prices are very low

The results were enlightening the last time we did it because it highlighted how everyone's palate is different.  I don't think there was single supplier/brand that was universally panned, but there were only one or two items that everyone liked.  I'll try to find the thread where the results were discussed.

Found the brief thread from last time we did the Taste Test (http://seprepnet.com/forum/index.php/topic,2167.msg12666.html#msg12666).

I think I read most if it, honestly I'm more interested in price and serving size.
I don't expect "MRE" type stuff to beat out grandma's cooking or be anything to write home about

I just want to put cheap stuff on the shelf, as long as it doesn't suck

I can't get lunch at mcdonalds for a buck

That was the thing: some people liked some brands/meals, others hated them.  I found out I absolutely can't stand the taste of most of the Wise Foods stuff, so I haven't spent any more money on it.  The Patriot Supply stuff tastes fine to me, though, so it was something I got more of.  Other people were exactly the opposite.  YMMV, thus the utility of the taste test.

potato soup was about the same.
a little bland, about the same as canned chunky soup. I chopped up a hard boiled egg and mixed it in.
that kicked it up a notch

Its about the same price as the stew and same size servings
2 bucks and change for 4 servings

I'd buy more at that price

half price mac and cheese
https://mypatriotsupply.com/apps/todays-deals

I have some. it's good but you can tell it's not kraft or velvetta. the texture is just a little bit soft/spongy as you would expect from freeze dried
other than that it's fine, it tastes good.
my 16yo ate a bowl and came back for more.
we made a packet (4 servings) 3 of us ate it with dinner and we had some left over. so the serving size is generous

24 servings for 14$ - free shipping at 100$

probably a better deal than normal mac and cheese at walmart and with a longer shelf life

I was thinking about buying stuff from them yesterday, including lots of mac and cheese. Glad I waited a day. I think I will want comfort food from childhood if SHTF. That's also why I stock spaghetti-o's lol
