Fall campout movie night?

A few days ago I ordered a DVD of the movie Amerigeddon. If anyone has a large enough laptop or way to play the movie I would be glad to bring it to the camp out for viewing.

I have a 32" monitor I keep with my portable stuff that I bring to radio events for training and master logging and such. Not huge, but I'd be happy to bring it.

Would be cool if we could use a sheet and a projector and make it a big screen event. Bring some jiffy pop for the fire................

Here's a thought. Wonder if fire will affect the visibility.

A Sam's Club 25lb bag is a LOT of popcorn, I haven't made a dent in it.

And this way, we'll be sure to have enough as we can adjust it according to who is there.

Bring your own bowl and whatever seasoning you like other than salt and a butter flavor shaker, which will be available for your use.

Anyone have a full on widescreen projection screen? I'm going to experiment with tarps, sheets, and the like, but if someone has it already, it would save some futzing and such.

Or about a 10' section of one of those billboard tarps IdahoAmma (sp?) used to bring if it's pure white on the back.

Best alternative might be a silver tarp and a white sheet. Other ideas?
