Burying fish in your vegetable garden
« on: September 27, 2021, 05:53:28 PM »
Since the American Indians used to bury a fish for fertilizer in their corn, long before we had mass-produced fertilizer, with fish and seaweed, I thought this might work.  I know I have to bury the fish really deep, to keep critters of digging it up.  So, my question is, has anyone out there tried this method?  If so, was it successful, or did the family pet or other critters dig them up?  It would not be worth the destruction, if that is an issue.  Thanks for your help!
