Article is kinda long but very interesting.  Personally I think that AI is an existential threat to the human race…. After reading this article my fears are even greater!

All I can think about if we use AI is the Terminator movies. AI will soon learn that humans cause most of the problems in the world.

I didn’t realize until recently that almost all landline phones in the US have been converted to digital. There are essentially no more analog phone lines in the US. Good thing?

Maybe that is why my analog phone quit.  You know the one hooked directly to the phone line that works when the power goes off.  Well mine quit.  Don't know why it is only 30 yrs old...

My landline phone worked during the week of the tornado recovery when we had no power. I have an old Princess phone and that is what was plugged directly into my phone jack.
