Article is kinda long but very interesting.  Personally I think that AI is an existential threat to the human race…. After reading this article my fears are even greater!

Maybe that is why my analog phone quit.  You know the one hooked directly to the phone line that works when the power goes off.  Well mine quit.  Don't know why it is only 30 yrs old...

My landline phone worked during the week of the tornado recovery when we had no power. I have an old Princess phone and that is what was plugged directly into my phone jack.
