Isn't it amazing....That was the year I graduated as well, R.W.. My parents listened to him as well. I was totally unaware of these happenings back then. Sure I knew about Woodstock, and protests. I was living in Milwaukee, when Father Groupi tried to march blacks across the bridge. I taught swimming in the inner city, when the riots took place. We had a curfew. My dad was stopped leaving town and he still had his hunting rifle in his trunk, following a trip to CO. They let him through. I watched girls burning bra's on TV, and anti war demonstrations.
My parents were strict. I was big into sports, lifeguarding and loved the 60's music, still do. Back then, the Democratic Party was truly the working man's party, not the Socialist Party. My parents were Democrats. Mom's last vote in her life was for Trump. She watched FOX. To say that Paul Harvey was a insightful man, would be a gross understatement. This is downright spooky.
