Need ideas for member levels

The ones that came with the board were Jr. Member, Member, etc. I tried to dress them up a little bit, but I ran out of prepper levels. I don't think "Commando" on top is that great - neither does CntrySnger apparently. It's not really the pinnacle of prepping. It will probably be more of a "Meek shall inherit the earth" situation, but that doesn't work as a top level, either.

We can have as many as we want.

Also I was hoping to find some good markers for the "stars" - the little blobs of however many you get. Tried shrinking down pictures of an ammo can, but you couldn't make it out. SKSBoards uses cartridges stood on end, but that's kind of "their" thing. The default size is 15 x 15. We don't have to stay that exactly, but the smaller the better.

Well preppers always says store bullets, band aids and beans so we could use beans, ha ha!

I see you caught that!  I just found it amusing, that's all.  How about gas masks for the markers?  That would be in keeping with Lilburner's "dark" theme.  Or maybe biohazard emblems.

I got it!

I changed the top level to "Bugged Out" - it works on so many levels!

You laugh, but that's an awesome idea - beans are necessary, an iconic prepper staple, and easy to distinguish in a tiny graphic. They also come in different colors, of which we need about four.

I'm working on that idea now - in fact I've put a preliminary red bean graphic for "Global Moderator", which as of this writing is just stvr. It looks like this.



Then I figure the rest of us will be black beans, and the forum mods will be navy beans (I think they are - kind of beige)

If everyone's sold on the beans by the Teamspeak tonight, I'll run with it, tighten up the graphic quality, and populate everything.

Looked up this old topic to try to figure out how to get a rating.  We are not new preppers, and can survive very nicely if we are not overrun by a large group with more fire power.  Unless we succumb to some disease we can not control with our current medical supply, we should be good to go.  Years ago, I signed up on this site as Ariel, but never used it much.  So is it just a matter of time until our newbie changes to Bugged in??? Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Not that it will help this decision but at most sites the "level" is determined by the number of posts but a few really advanced preppers are newer members or rarely post so I really don't think it matters what symbol or words are used.      Instead I read some of a newer member's posts in an effort to learn if they may be knowledgeable in the area being discussed.

10,000 posts of crap is still 10,000 posts of crap.       Fortunately on this site there is hardly any crap so I can learn from almost every post.    That's why I like this site.     The people are real and make common sense smart posts.
