8 Beans, Last week, our Walmart's price on wide mouth Ball, one dozen, was 24.00. When Ingall's is cheaper than Walmart, something is wrong....same brand.

Ingals had wide mouth Ball canning jars for twenty...Still too high, will keep searching yard sales.

Have you looked at Walmart? Ours are cheaper by several dollars per dozen than any of our local grocery stores.

There were tons of pork Engels yesterday, but not one pork steak.  The fresh seafood was really picked over, in the area where you walk up and tell them what you want.  Ground turkey was four something a pound, so I bought seven.  I just tasted the new Spicy Chili a minute ago and really liked it.  I used beef.  If the rain comes in I will make bought eight quarts with turkey, so it is healthy.
I have brussel sprouts in the canner right now.  They are cooking in pre-cooked bacon, some fresh garlic and beef broth.  This is a new one.
When I found out I was going to need a hip replacement this summer, I started testing some of the newer meals in a jar.  I am picking the favorites and making more to keep Thor out of the kitchen.  Trust me, you would not want Thor in your kitchen.

MrBeans grabbed a few things for the front yard yesterday. Two things we didn't bring with us were a shovel and a rake. He was appalled at the prices. I told him to go ahead and get them because EVERYTHING is increasing in price and it won't get better.

Today was shopping day for me. I make several stops. Walmart brand canned vegetables shelves were sparse. Dry beans were also low. I don’t buy meat at Walmart, but chicken was low and pork was low. Plenty of beef, processed meats and frozen meats. There were full shelves of cereal, chips, soft drinks and frozen vegetables. Kroger seemed well stocked, but I don’t get much there and didn’t check every aisle. The commissary was as stocked as it usually is.

Region 2 / Re: New to Region 2

I was just up here a couple of weeks ago and the effluent pipes on my ponds were half stopped up with sticks and dead weeds.  Today the small pond is running over with the effluent pipe under water, no where to be seen.  The large pond and the effluent pipe was in the same shape, underwater.   The large overflow pipe was half stopped up which I cleaned out.  What could cause this??  One critter I know of........ I have a large beaver in my ponds.  The neighbor confirmed this when she said her dogs have been chasing it.  I asked her if she knew of anyone that had a gun and could come over and shoot the beaver.  She did...  If I had a gun I could do it myself.  I do have traps back in region 8 but that would catch her dog also.  Always something.

I haven't read everything as yet but there are a couple of good channels to follow about this very thing... these are on YouTube. I advise you to watch the past week's worth of videos to get a better understanding of exactly what is going on and why. Much of what is happening concerning the sunspots affecting us as much as they are (when typically they shouldn't) is due to the magnetic pole reversal happening. These reversals and grand solar minimums and such all take a lot of time.... a blink in the big scheme of things but 2-3 decades in our time.

Suspicious Observers --- is my favorite - for a thorough but down to earth report daily that rarely exceeds 3 minutes. Only this past week has he made educational videos that are longer.
Oppenheimer Ranch Project --- Diamond is annoying to me but his information is decent.
Magnetic Reversal News --- these videos are longer.

Hope these help!

Seeing the same thing here.  More empty spaces on shelves than I’ve seen in over a year.  Some items I typically buy (but can live without) have been out of stock for over a month.  Prices are still going up and I’m so glad I bought the 27 cases of Ball jars when they were 8 bucks…. The regular mouth quarts are now over 15.00 at our local Wally.

Crisco went up a dollar for two sticks in one week.  I bought the last three rolls of duct tape at Walmart last week.  They didn't have more in the back.  Starting to see empty places on the shelves, esp. if it is a rare sale item, or store brand.  Anyone else seeing this?  Sure, we are a long way from food shortages, in terms of starving, but its just starting to "feel funny".  Same went for fresh fruit...spotty.  Lots of berries but the prices are crazy!
